This is a quick update, but I wanted to tell you that fulfillment has started for the US and North America.

Our fulfillment partners in the rest of the world will begin sending games in a day or two.

I will get tracking numbers and upload them to Backerkit, which will notify each of you as soon as they become available.

I'm sure you've been waiting to hear this update!

Dobbers has reached our US fulfillment partner as of today! We are expecting the overseas fulfillment company to receive copies of the game within a day or two.

Fulfillment should begin next week!

All addresses will be locked on Monday! If you need to make any changes, please do so on Backerkit by Sunday evening (June 9th).

I should be able to provide an update next week with additional information.

Thanks again, your Dobber, Darryl

Dobbers: Quest for the Key is almost here!

As many of you know, I've been doing my best to keep you updated as manufacturing finishes, I learn about freight and imports, and begin the fulfillment process. I'm excited to share that fulfillment should begin in a few weeks. As long as everything stays on it's current schedule. If anything changes, I'll let you know.

I also shared in a recent KS update that I had already made a commitment to a booth at Geekway to the West, believing Dobbers would have already been fulfilled. I was able to have a few copies air shipped to me so I had some product to sell, hoping to cover the cost of booth and hotel expenses. It went very well. People were excited to try the game and we sold all of the copies I had.

I appreciate your understanding with this. I'm trying to make a business that is able to support my family. We had a blast at the convention and I hope it was the first of many to come.

The Alwaysgreen Garden Is Coming To Kickstarter And I Need Your Help

Things have started rolling here at Splattered Ink Games as convention season officially kicked off last week with Geekway to the West. We had our first booth as a game publisher and had a blast. I got to meet many fans and I did my best to make many new ones.

Alwaysgreen Garden Soft Launch

I was able to introduce the public to the Alwaysgreen Garden. People really loved the game. Nearly everyone who demoed it requested to be added to our email list.

Mackenzie of Meeple Street said it was her favorite game at Geekway. You can see her brief overview here.

Below are a few more images of the game.

I need your help!

As we approach the launch of the Alwaysgreen Garden on Kickstarter, I need as much help as I can get telling people about the game. There are a few easy ways to get the word out. Mostly using the website BoardGameGeek.com (BGG). If people see other people liking the game, it will naturally grow.

1st: Give this image a Thumbs Uphttps://boardgamegeek.com/image/4756066/alwaysgreen-garden
If enough people do so, the image will show up on the homepage of BGG and more people will learn about the game

2nd: Subscribe to the Gamehttps://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/271172/alwaysgreen-garden
If you had a chance to play the game at Geekway, give it a rating and make a comment. Each interaction like this helps increase the game's visibility.

3rd: Give the Alwaysgreen Garden a Thumbs Up herehttps://boardgamegeek.com/geekpreview/17/origins-game-fair-2019?parentitem=6010
This is a list of new games coming to Origins in Columbus Ohio this year. Another opportunity to increase viability and win over more fans. :)

I'll be finalizing the Kickstarter Launch date next week. By then I should know the fulfillment schedule for Dobbers. I'll let you know as soon as I do!

My sincere thanks!

The long boat ride

Hello Dobber Family!

Things continue to go well. All the games are safely packaged and paletted.

We continue you get closer to fulfillment. It's been interesting to learn the process of getting the games from the manufacturer to our fulfillment partners so they can get to you! I've learned there's a lot more involved with sea freight and imports than I initially knew, but I've done my best to tackle it with open arms and an eager mind.

I will let you know if I can acquire any tracking information for the freight.

I continue to make progress on the Alwaysgreen Garden. I hope to begin soliciting reviewers within the week. :)

The game should be ready for Kickstarter right after Dobbers has been fulfilled. It looks like it's going to be another exciting summer for Splattered Ink Games!

I enjoy being able to share these early elements of my new project as they develop. You all are important to me and I value your thoughts and opinions. It's because of you the Dobbers came to life! Thank you.

Hope you have a good week!

Final Manufacturing Proof and we're off to the races!
about 5 years ago – Fri, Apr 12, 2019 at 10:08:21 PM

Hello Dobber family!

I got the final production proof from my manufacturer today and I was so excited I had to share it!

I shot a quick unboxing video of the base game. I'm very pleased and I know you all will be too.

Production is on schedule and everything should be shipped out right after Easter.

Keep your dobbers up and have a great weekend!

Darryl,
