Hello dobber family,

I can't believe it's been three years since Dobbers: Quest for the Key. I love seeing it in the wild and knowing people are still enjoying it. 

I'd like to present: Seeds of Decay

Seeds of Decay is everything you love about the dobbers as a table to role playing game. It's built using 5th Edition fantasy rules and is accessible to all ages and play styles.  

There's trouble in the forest...

A crack has formed in the darkness of the Alwaysgreen Forest, leaking rot and decay. Trees are withering and crops are failing to mature. Strange, twisted creatures have been seen in the shadows. 

The Rot Weaver has returned. Will you save the forest from the spreading decay before it’s too late?

Seeds of Decay is a brand new adventure for 5th Edition that brings you into the dark, whimsical world of the Dobbers. Enjoy fully-illustrated quests with unique maps, NPCs, monsters and much more! 

Along with this grand adventure comes over 60 unique and scalable monsters that will tangle up every encounter, as well as new magic items, spells, races, classes and subclasses, and if that wasn’t enough, a brand new system for building contraptions and tools!

All games have been shipped, including UK and the rest of the world

All of the games have officially been shipped!

It took longer than I expected and I hoped but all games in the US, UK and the Rest of the World have been shipped. I'm so excited you must allow me to bombard you with happy dance gifs!

What's next?

1. I'm sending out a few replacement copies for items that were damaged or missing in the initial shipment. If this applies to you, never fear, I'm taking care of it!

2. I'm working on an updated Rule Book. This will include a corrected parts list, advise for first time play and an expanded section on building encounters.

3. I have filmed and am in the progress of editing instructional videos for Dobbers regarding key parts of the game, such as set up and encounters.

This project has provided a long road for my family and I, but it has been worth it to make my long time dream a reality. I'm excited to be on this leg of the road and will continue to support and invest in you, my backer family and the game I love. Thank you for your support!

The Alwasygreen Garden

I believe my timing was amiss for the Alwasygreen Garden Launch. I appreciate your consideration on this project. Never fear, I'll keep working to improve the game and will be relaunching it in the fall.

More News

Since the launch of Dobbers, I've had the privilege to work on several Kickstarter publications. It's been fun and busy. Yesterday the campaign ended for Dawrinauts from Green Couch Games. I designed the Kickstarter page and did all the Graphic Design for the game itself. Today, Out of the Box Encounters from Nerdarchy launched. I have a huge fondness for D&D and some of you know that the Dobbers has also been converted to a D&D module. 

I know a lot of you are also RPG and D&D players, so, I don't mind sharing their campaign with you. I'm proud of the work I've done to bring it to life.

Another Fulfillment Update

I have some genuinely good news. US Fulfillment is nearly complete. I'll have tracking numbers uploaded today and tomorrow. 

I'm really sorry again for the delay. We got pushed back a few times as the repackaging had to be done. But now that's done and everything is in the mail. I look forward to you sharing your gaming experience when you get your copies! Non-US copies are shortly to follow.

As you know, I've done my best to communicate openly and clearly throughout the campaign. It's been a dream of mine to make games and now I get to. It's still a business and I have to make sure it's profitable enough to keep running. With that, as many of you know, I've moved forward with our next game, the Alwaysgreen Garden. 

The base game is only $26 and you get a ton of stuff in the box. Custom meeples, custom wooden dice, a modular board and more.  

I'd be honored if you'd take a look at the campaign. Even if you just pledge $1 you can help bring another Splattered Ink game into the world.

It's a fun, puzzley, worker placement, resource collection game with a little engine building and mischief.
